DONATION FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED SCHOOL IN MADUKULAM ORGANIZED BY 61 DIVISION

Troops of 61 Division organised a donation campaign at V/Madukulam Nawajothi School on 06 April 2018 by facilitating a Drinking Water System and a Children Park which was a long felt need for students of this remote school.

The donation programme was carried outunder the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 61 Division Major General D M S Dissanayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu.

The project was implemented due to a request made by the Principal of the School and villagers in the area. The General Officer Commanding completed the project with the generous sponsorship of Vibromix Lanka PLC.

The event was graced by the General Officer Commanding of 61 Division Major General D M S Dissanayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu as the Chief Guest together with the Director of Divisional Educational Officer – Omanthai, Mr. Shashi Kumar, the Principal and the Staff of V/Madukulam Nawajothi School, students and large number of Villagers in nearby areas.
