Continuing the social welfare projects initiated by Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc, a donation programme for spectacles was held on 9 March 2020 at the Auditorium of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni).
This programme was sponsored by the Rotary Club, Colombo having coordinated by the Chief Civil Affairs Officer of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Lieutenant Colonel Janaka Rathwatte RSP through his personal affiliation.
Over 250 civilians representing all communities in Wanni were attended the programme and they were undergone a complete check-up before issuing them with spectacles. The Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc made his presence for this programme as the chief guest and senior Officers of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni), Civil Affairs Officers of Divisions under Security Force (Wanni), large number of civilians made their presence for the occasion.
