DONATION OF SCHOOL ITME AT THEWANPIDDY RCTM SCHOOL AND THEWANPIDDY PRIMARY SCHOOL

With the direction of General Officer Commanding of 65 Division Major General DMT Dissanayaka RSP USP and under the supervision of Commander 651 Brigade, troops of 19th Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry conducted an event of distributing school items, stationeries and toys to 45 children in Thewanpiddy Punidha Joshap Vas Pre - school during the ceremony on handing over the renovated Pre - school to the children ( by cleaning and painting the pre - school and its’ premises). Further 50 numbers of school shoes and socks were distributed among the selected 50 students from Thewanpiddy RCTM school and Thewanpiddy primary school. Event was conducted on 05th Feb 2021 at Thewanpiddy Punidha Joshap Vas Pre - school premises.

General Officer Commanding of 65 Division Major General DMT Dissanayaka RSP USP participated in the event as the Chief Guest. 06 × 16 troops, 95 x students and 55 x civilians attended to the aforesaid programme.
