DONATION OF SCHOOL ITEMS FOR GEMUNUPURA PRIMARY SCHOOL

With the direction of General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Major General Upali Gunasekara RWP USP IG, 9th Battalion Gajaba Regiment organized a book donation programme at Gemunupura Primary School on 14.11.2021 to distribute school items worth of Rs 6000/- each among 35 students. And also they conducted a programme to donate library equipment’s, a computer and school items worth of Rs 6000/- each among 170 students at Sri Thissapura Vidyalaya.

Aforesaid programmes were conducted under the supervision of CO 9 GR Lt Col Senaka Munasinghe with the participation of Commander 623 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Rohan Medagoda and CCCA of SFHQ (W) Lt Col Nanda Madugalla. The school items were donated by Rev Anuruddha thero.
