DONATION OF SCHOOL ITEMS AMONG THE PUPILS OF BOGASWEWA VIDYALAYA
The “Samadhi Forum” of Kotte donated School Items worth of Rs. 850,000/= among 450 pupils of Bogaswewa Vidyalaya on 30 Nov 15. Each student received a pack including a school bag , a pack of books, pens, pencils, a water bottle and a snack box.rnrnThe event was coordinated by 56 Div, 563 Bde and 19(V)GR Battalion under the instructions of Comd SF(W) Maj Gen MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc. All the recipients were pupils of resettled families of Bogaswewa area.rnThe “Samadhi Forum” had conducted a similar donation program successfully in year 2014 at Kebithigollewa area in coordination with SF HQ (W). The organizer of “Samadhi Forum” Mr. Nimal Rathnasiri stated that this would be an annual event which was commenced in year 2013 and the members of the forum have planned to continue such humanitarian events in future also. The President of “Samadi Forum” Mr. Nishantha Dilruksha, the secretary Mr. Anura Wijewickrama and some of the members of the forum actively involved in this valuable event. Further, Mrs. Chandra Adikaram the treasurer rendered a dedicated service in this meritorious activity. The collective effort of “Samadhi Forum” and Security Force Wanni has led to make the event a success.
