DONATION OF SCHOOL ITEMS

A donation of school items at Gamini National School - Vavuniya was conducted on 20th December 2021 by the Social group “82 Api” which has been inaugurated by 1982 born individuals from Sri Lanka and all around the world. The program has involved the distribution of exercise books and school bags for students of Gamini National School, the renovation of electrical system of the computer laboratory, donation of necessary chemicals and required Lab tools for the laboratory, distribution of infrastructure items, and conduction of an eye and ear clinic for the teachers and students of the school.

The Commander, Security Forces Wanni - Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP graced the occasion as the chief guest and the General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, Major General LDSS Liyanage RSP USP psc Hdmc and Mr Thejana Abeydheera (Founder of the organization), Mrs Sujani Senarath and several other representatives from “82 Api” organization, the Commander 562 Infantry Brigade - Brigadier AMS Premawansha RWP RSP USP, Vavuniya SSP Thissalal de Silva, Chief Coordinating Civil Affairs SF HQ (Wanni) - MWNK Madugalla, Civil Affairs Officer 56 Infantry Division - Lt Col WKAS Priyanthalal RWP RSP, Commanding Officer - 17 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment - Maj HK Kumarasiri, several Army personnel and teachers and students of Gamini National School presented at the occasion adhering to the Covid - 19 health protocols.
