General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Maj Gen M K S Silva RWP RSP ndu graced as the Chief Guest at the donation of school books and accessories held at T/Paranamedawachchiya Primary School on 16 Jan 2021.
The Books and accessories were donated to 50 students of the school sponsored by former Armoured Corps Colonel Gamini Balasooriya (Rtd) and his family who are currently residing in the USA.
The commander 622 Infantry Brigade Colonel B G S Fernando USP Psc along with the senior officers 62 Infantry Division and School staff were also attended for the ceremony.
