DONATION PROGRAMME FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES

Aiming of enhancing the mutual cooperation and reconciliation between civil community and the military in Cheddikulam divisional secretariat area, a donation programme of 20 bicycles and 20 dry rations packets for under privileged families on 05 December 2021 at St Anthony's Church Periyakaddu under the patronage of Chief Incumbent of Thanthirimale Raja MahaViharaya, most venerable Thanthirimale Chandrarathana thero and the Commanding Officer, 5 ( V ) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Major S D Rathnasiri.

This programme was implemented according to the instructions and guidance of Commander Security Force Wanni, Major General C D Ranasingha RWP RSP and General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Major General W R M M Rathnayaka RWP RSP USP ndu. This event was materialized, on the contributions made by the Path organization with the coordination of most venerable Thanthirimale Chandrarathana thero. The programme was organized by the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Regiment under the supervision of Commander 213 Infantry Brigade, Colonel L G J N Ariyathilaka RWP RSP. Group of Officers and members of Path Organization took part in the occasion.
