DONATION PROGRAMME CONDUCTED IN 62 DIVISION AREA

A donation of dry ration packs among 100 underprivileged families in Parakramapura, Padaviya, Bisokotuwa, Bellankadawala, Grevelkanda and Weherathenna Divisional Secretariat area in Mullaitivu District got underway on 12 April 2020 This event was organized by the troops of 17 SLNG and co-ordinate with Ven. Halmillewe Vanarathana thero under the direction of the General Officer Commanding 62 Division, and Commander 621 Brigade.

Following essential items have been distributed among needy families with the participation of General Officer Commanding 62 Division, Major General JMU Dammika Jayasinghe, Commander 621 Brigade, Brigadier AP Wickramasekara USP psc Civil Affairs Officers of 62 Divison, Civil Affairs Officers of 621 Brigade and Commanding officer and Other ranks of 17 SLNG Were Participaped for the event .

Rice - 03 kg, Watana Dhal - 500g, Sugar - 01kg (1 pkt), Cream Cracker - 100g (1 pkt), Tea - 50g, Chilli powder - 100g, Salt - 01kg (1 pkt), Siddhalepa - 01, panadol – 06, Soya Meat - 100g (1 pkt), Pepper - 50g, Flour - 1kg, Sprats - 100g, B onion - 500g, Condiments - 50g, Marie Biscuit - 1 pkt
