A donation programme was organized by Headquarters 56 Division for resettles in Bogaswewa on 27 July 2013 with coordination of the Buddhist Channel. The group of Buddhist Channel was led by the Ven. Dharanagama Kusaladamma Thero. Following items were donated among the resettles in the event 100 x Cattles, 226 x Dry Ration Packs, Rs. 5000/- each per 50 x Families (those who have more than 03 children), 145 x School Items, 73 x School Shoes for girls, 40 x Agriculture tools, 100 x Radios, 15 x Water Filters, 247 x Ladies wears, 147 x Skirt / T-shirt (For bellow 5 year), 35 x Lanterns, 01 x Sawing Machines, 1016 x Buddhist statues, 05 x Wheel Chairs, 03 x clutches
Deputy Chief Sanga Nayaka Ven. Attabagaskada Kalyanatissayabidana Nayaka Thero (Northern Province) graced the event. The event was directed by the General Officer Commanding 56 Division Brigadier D A R Ranawaka RSP IG, Commander 563 Brigade, Brigadier AAIJ Bandara and Col GS Colonel C H M C P Chandrasekara- 56 Division. Large number of villagers, military personals and distinguish guestswere among the present.
