Security Force Wanni taking another step forward in housing project, laid the foundation stone for a new house to Mrs P Sepalika Piyadasa residing at Medawachchieliya, Thanthirimale on 14th January 2021
Mrs Sepalika Piyadasa who is having three children at the age of 2, 6 and 08 were undergoing lot of hardships even without a proper shelter to live. Therefore in keeping with the conceptual concept of Comd SFHQ (Wanni) and direction given by GOC 21 Inf Div and Comd 212 Inf Bde the house was constructing by the troops of 5 SLNG. It was sponsored by Philanthropist living in Australia Mr Anura Sandhaya Nanayakkara on request made by Comd 212 Inf Bde.
Foundation stone for the construction of house was auspiciously laid by Brigadier Anil Peiris RSP USP psc Comd 212 Inf Bde, with the presence of officers soldiers and members of the beneficiary family.
