DONATION OF NATIONAL FLAGS AND CDS OF NATIONAL ANTHEMS - 21 DIVISION
With the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Col of the regiment of Sri Lanka Singha Regiment, Competent authority for Dispersed personnel in North Province Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP ndu psc, the 211 Brigade has coordinated a function to hand over items worth of Rs: 55000.00, which consist of 100 Nos of National flags, 100 Nos CDs of National Anthem and 30 Nos booklets that include of description and Rules of National flag, which was donated by the trade Union Nimnipura of jaela. These items were handed over to Vavuniya South Zonal Director of Education Mrs Anton Somaraja at her office on 17 October 2013, in order to distribute them among 100 school in Vavuniya South. Lt Col TMGB Thennakoon – GR who is the Civil Affairs Officer of 211 Brigade was also present for the function.
