DONATION OF DRY RATION PACKETS AND WATER BOTTLES IN WALIOYA AREA
62 Division had organized a distribution program of dry ration packets and drinking water bottles under the kind patronage of Mr. R S Pallewela and Family, founder of Golden (Pvt) Ltd, to the underprivileged community in Gajabapura, Monarawewa, Mayawewa and Kalyanipura on 26 September 2014. 500 families were benefited by this campaign and each family received a dry ration pack worth of Rs 1000.00 and two 5 Litter water container. The event was conducted under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 62 Division, Brigadier K G D Perera RWP RSP USP IG, and coordinated by Commander 621 Brigade, I H M N N Herath USP psc. TV Derana rendered the fullest support in coordinating this events.
