DONATION OF DRY FOODS ITEMS TO THE POOR FAMILY RESIDING IN THE SFHQ (W) AOR

Taking another step forward to ensure the well being of the poor family living in the area donated the dry foods items worth of Rs 20,000/= to the family of Miss I S M Wickramasinghe residing at Thambiyawa, Thanthirimale who is a separated women having three children at the age of 8,4 years and 2 month old respectively. The family is undergoing extremely hardships due to no one is there to earn for the family on 3 Dec 2020.

The donation was sponsored by Mr Damith Kahawe who is living in Australia with an invitation by Commander 212 Infantry Brigade with the instructions of the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) and General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division. The donations were distributed by Brigadier Anil Peiris RSP USP psc, Commander 212 Infantry Brigade at the small ceremony held at the house with the presence of Senior Officers of 21 Infantry Division, 212 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard and family members of the beneficiary.
