Security Forces Headquarters Wanni taking another step forward in housing project, laid the foundation stone for a new house to Mr: R.M Jeewantha Prasad Rathnayake residing at Maha Elagamuwa, Suriyagama, Kekirawa on 22nd June 2023.
Mr: R.M Jeewantha Prasad Rathnayake who is having three children at the age of 1, 5 and 9 years were undergoing lot of hardships even without a proper shelter to live. Therefore in keeping with the conceptual concept of Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) and direction given by General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division and Commander 212 Infantry Brigade, constricting will be done by the troops of 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps. It was sponsored by a Philanthropist who is living in Austria Ms Krita Peiris and Nihal Harishchandra on request made by General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division.
The foundation stone for the construction of house was auspiciously laid by Col RMC Rathnayake RWP RSP USP, Commander 212 Infantry Brigade and officers, soldiers and members of the beneficiary were presented at the ceremony.
