DONATION OF COMPUTER FACILITIES FOR ROSHAN MAHANAMA PRIMARY SCHOOL AT WEHERATHENNA RESETTLED VILLAGE
Opening and handing over of much needed Computer Laboratory worth of approximately three hundred thousand rupees (Rs. 300 000.00) for Roshan Mahanama Primary School at Weherathenna Resettled village was held on 30 March 2017. This generous project was initiated as per the vision and directions of the General Officer Commanding 62 Division Maj Gen B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc. Financial assistance for the project was sponsored by Fentons Ltd. Colombo, a Hayleys Group of Company. Prime aim of this effort is to enhance the computer literacy knowledge of the under privileged students at Weherathenna Resettled Village. The event was coordinated by the officers and soldiers of 62 Division and 623 Brigade. \r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding 62 Division Maj Gen B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc, Members of the Fentons Ltd, Mr Sujith De Alwis, Mr Rejee Gunawardene, Mr Chithral De Silva, Mr Chanuka Wickramawardene, Commander 623 Brigade, Staff of the School, Children, Villagers of Weherathenna and officers and soldiers from under command Brigades and Battalions were also participated at the event.
