In view of hardship faced by civilions due to Covid - 19 pandemic and travel restriction imposed, dry ration distribution programme had been conducted among the needy family who are living in general area Thunukkai and Naddankandal on 13 June 2021 on the guidance and supervision of the Major General D M T Dissanayake RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of 65 Infantry Division.
50 x Dry Ration packs were donated by Mr Rangan and Mr Anurakhnthan DSO (Distric Sports Officer) attended for the event with the precence of Government Agent Mulathivu, Maj Gen D M T Dissanakake RSP USP, General Ofiicer commanding of 65 Inf Div, Divisonal Secratrait Mulathiv and Thunukkai. Comd 652 Inf Bde Brig Udaya Herath RWP RSP USP psc along with the Staff Officers and Commanding Officer of the 17th SLLI were attended for the distribution programme.
