In view of hardship faced by civilions due to Covid 19 pandemic and travel restriction imposed, dry retion distribution programme was conducted among the pregnant mothers who are living in the area by 19th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry on 10th June 2021.Benificeries were selected from Kalvilan, Tewanpiddi, Nachchikuda amd Mulankavil GN Divisions.
Donation campaign was organized by the19SLLI Bn with the direction of Maj Gen DMT Dissanakake RSP USP, General Ofiicer commander of 65 Inf Div, Comd 651 Bde Brig KMW Wasantha RSP coordinated event. General Officer Commander of 65 Inf Div along with the Staff Officers and Commanding Officer of the 19th SLLI was attended for the distribution programme.
