DONATION OF BOOKS FOR THE LIBRARY AT PADAVIYA MAHASEN VIDYALAYA
Students of Vidudaya Viddayala Brotherhood Foundation funded for building materials to renovate the building and to purchase cupboards, books for the library at Weherathanna village. The estimated cost is approximately Rs. 1500000.00 and the completed library was ceremonially handed over to the school at 0900 hrs on 2nd October 2014 under the coordination of Commander 621 Brigade. Vice - Chancellor of Sri Jayawardhanapura university Mr. Pathmalal, Padaviya AGA Mr. Ranjith Priyadarshana, Commander 621 Brigade Colonel I H M N N Herath USP psc, Second in Command 17 SLNG, 40 university students, school students and 75 parents were present at this event.
