DONATING HOUSE TO FAMILY AT EPPAWALA

Taking another step forward on the housing projects launched by the Security Force (Wanni) under the supervision of Commander Security Force Wanni Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc, a newly constructed house at Adiranigama , Ihala Halmilleewa, Eppawala was donated to the family of Mr W A Upul Wanasooriyaarachchi on 06 May 2020 who was undergoing with lot of difficulties.

The philanthropists livin in Australia Mr Prithi Gajanayake sponsored to construct this house and the construction work was coordinated by the Commander 212 Brigade Colonel Anil Peiris RSP USP psc.

Construction of this house was tasked to the troops of 7th Sri Lanka Armoud Corps.

The newly constructed house comprised with all facilities such as sitting area, daining room, bedrooms, washroom, kitchen etc and was gifted with essential house hold items, electric appliances and furniture. In addition, the beneficiary was much fortunate to be facilitated.

Giving a prime place to religious observances, the key of newly constructed house was auspiciously handed over by the Commander SF Wanni Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc gracing a brief ceremony as the Chief Guest.

General Officer Commanding 21 Division Major General HLVM Liyanage RWP RSP ndu The Commander 212 Brigade, Civil affairs officers of SFHQ (W), 21 DIV and 212 Bde, the Commanding Officer of 7th Sri Lanka Armoud Corps and family members of beneficiary along with number of civilians in the village too were present at the ceremony.
