DISTRIBUTION OF STATIONARY AMONG THE SCHOOL CHILDREN IN 652 INFANTRY BRIGADE AOR

As per the direction and the guidance given by the General Officer Commanding 65 Infantry Division Major General Anil Samarasiri, Commander 652 Infantry Brigade and troops of 10 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry organized a school items distribution programme for school children at Vinayagapuram Government Tamil Mixed School in 652 Infantry Brigade area on 20 Dec 2021, the aim of the programme is to upgrade the education of underprivileged school children in Security Forces (Wanni) area and to create the ethnic harmony among the nations.

The main financial contribution for this event was Mr. Eranga Jayakodi and Mrs. Munza Mushtaq with the liaison of Civil Affairs Officer of 652 Infantry Brigade. The packages contain with School bags, shoes with socks, water bottles, lunch boxes were distributed among the 53 primary students. Value of each pack worth of Rs: 4,500.00 and total value is Rs: 238,500.00.
