DISTRIBUTION SCHOOL NECESSARIES FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS OF LOW-INCOME FAMILIES UNDER COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAMME

The succeeding of their future studies for 36 students who have passed the 2023 GCE (O/L) and Grade 5 scholarship examination belong to low-income families residing in the 10 (V) GW area under command 541 Infantry Brigade. A donation programme necessaries of school equipments was carried out on 27 January 2024 at HQ 10 (V) GW. Further Commander 54 Infantry Division Major General KMPSB Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, Commander 541 Infantry Brigade Colonel BYC Fernando RWP USP, Officers and other rankers and officials from Zonal Education Office Madu attended for this event. The set of equipment given to school student included a pair of shoes, school bags, exercise books and other school stationeries. A set of equipment value more than Rs.10000.00. The financial contribution for this school equipment was made by , Mr. Thimal Thennakoon and Mr. Asela Wijesinghe who are old boys in Ananda College Colombo.
