DISTRIBUTION PROGARMME OF SCHOOL ACCESSORIES

According to the SLAWFS 2020- 2025 and concept of the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP, with the guidance of General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Major General W R M M Rathnayaka RWP RSP USP ndu, in view of extending a helping hand to outfit educational standards of students in the remote area, a donation of school accessories got away on 20 December 2021 at Palayauruwa primary school in Vavuniya District, under the supervision of Commander 213 Infantry Brigade Colonel LGJN Ariyathilaka RWP RSP with the patronage of the Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment.

This was materialized, on the contribution made by Mr. Chamara Priyashantha who is presently residing in Colombo, having same intention of uplifting educational standards of students in remote area. During the programme 12 students received school accessories. This programme was organized by 2nd Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment. The chief incumbent of Awaranthulawa Sri Chethiyagiri Historic temple, Operation and Training Officer of 2nd Battalion Mechanized infantry Regiment, principal and teachers of Palayuruwa and students participated in the event
