DISTRIBUTION OF MILK PACKETS AMONG LOW INCOME FAMILIES

With the intention of supporting low income families, a programme was conducted at Nidahas Samaru Auditorium, Buddangala in the Padaviya Divisional Secretariat area on 17 December 2022. In the programme 144 numbers of 400 g Anchor Milk Powder packets by the Fonterra Sri Lanka were distributed among the 72 low income families, two packets for each family in the 15 Grama Niladhari Divisions of the Padaviya Divisional Secretariet Area.

The Programme was organized as per the instructions and the directions of General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Major General Janaka Ranasinghe RSP USP ndc and the supervision of Commander 622 Infantry Brigade Brigadier Inoj Herath RSP USP psc. The event was organized by the Major Gamini Attanayake Commanding Officer of the 14th (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry.
