DISTRIBUTION OF DRY RATION PACKS FOR NEEDY FAMILIES

As per the good will gesture of the GOC 56 Infantry Division Major General Nandana Dunuwila RWP RSP USP with the contribution of members of ‘83-’87 batch of the Prince of Wales’ College - Moratuwa, donated 100 dry ration packs for needy families who faced financial deprivations due to Corona pandemic situation in Nedunkerni, Olumadu, Senaipilavu, Kokeliya, Parasankulam and Vilathikulam Grama Niladhari Divisions on 24 July 2021.

Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Hemantha Bandara RWP RSP USP graced the occasion as the chief guest and representatives of ’83-’87 batch of Prince of Wales’ college – Moratuwa, Mr Thisara Perera, Mr Wasantha Perera, Mr Nayana Jayantha, Mr Prasada Peris, Mr Camil Fernando and Ajith P Rambukkana. The GOC 56 Infantry Division Commanders of 561, 562 and 563 Infantry Brigades, Civil Affairs Officers, Commanding Officers, selected Army personnel and Vilathikulam Grama Niladari Mr M Danushan attended this donation programme.
