To coincide with the 24th anniversary of 56 Infantry Division, troops of 16 SLSR and 17 (V) VIR under 561 Infantry Brigade, sponsored by Mr Prasad Lokubalasooriya of ‘Manushyathwaye Sahana Yathrawa” Colombo, had distributed 50 dry ration packs for 50 needy families at Kanagarayankulam and Nedunkerny areas on 17 October 2021.
General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Maj Gen U U K L S Perera RWP RSP USP psc grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was taken place under the supervision of Commander 561 Infantry Brigade.
