DISTRIBUTION OF DRY RATION PACKETS AT WEHERATHENNA VILLAGE
Thirty packs of dry ration were distributed among the families from Weherathhanna village on 08.06.2014. Doctor H.S. Ranasingha (Peradaniya Hospital), Doctor S.P. Wickramaga (Lecturer from Rajarata University), Doctor AW Ranasingha (Retired) have donated these items. Worth of each pack is nearly Rs; 1500/= and was contained with 10kg of rice, 1kg of dhal, 1kg of suger , one packet of tea (100g), packet of washing powder (70g), one each of baby soap and pen, three exercise book (80 pages) and three towels. Items were donated during a amiable event organized at Headquarters of 26 SLSR premises with the witness of donors, Civil Affairs Officer 62 Division, Commanding Officer 26 SLSR and large gathering of villagers.
