The troops of 17th Battalion The Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, under 561 Infantry Brigade have organized a dry ration packet donation programme on 28 June 2021, among five under privileged families in Nedunkerni area.
The programme was successfully conducted with the guidance of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, Major General Nandana Dunuwila and under the supervision of Commander 561 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Priyantha Rathnayake. The event helped much for the villagers to overcome their difficulties during this pandemic situation.
