25,000 cashew plants were distributed among the rural community supervision and under the arrangement of Commander 622 Brigade Brigadier TD Weerakoon RWP RSP USP with generous contribution of Dilmah Conservation. The events were held in the areas of Pulmoddai (on 16 December 2014), Sinhapura (on 06 January 2015), Helambawewa (on 28 December 2014), Janakapura (on 11 January 2015), Kiriibbanwewa (on13 January 2015), Ehatugaswewa (on 04 and 14 January 2015) and Kokilai (on 17 December 2014).
