In response to the situation in country due to COVID 19 virus tps of 14 Battalion Sir Lanka Light Infantry organized a disinfect progrmme with the assistance of MOH office Sampathnuwara from 1500 hrs to 1800 hrs on 23 Mar 2020 in order control spreading of above said virus within the area.
Following locations in Sampathnwara town were disinfected with the participation of Commanding Officer and troops 14 (v) SLLI with 5‹Spray machines.
a. Divisionl Secretariat office.
b. Mahaweli L Zine office.
c. Sampathnuwara Hospital.
d. bas halts in town.
e. BOC bank and ATM machine area.
f. Town area.
