In response to the situation in country due to COVID 19 virus tps of 17 Sir Lanka National Guard organized a disinfect progrmme with the assistance of Base Hospital Padaviya from 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs on 24 Mar 2020 in order to control spreading of above virus within the area.
Following locations in Padaviya and Parakramapura town area has been disinfected with the participation of Commanding Officer and troops of 17 SLNG, MOH-Padaviya, PHI officers, OIC-Padaviya with with other police members, CO CSD Galkulama with 10 members and 10 ‹ hospital staff with 10 ‹ spray machines.
a. Padaviya Hospital.
b. Government banks and ATM machine area .
c. Padaviya and Prakrampura town area.
