According to a concept of Comd SFHQ (W) Maj Gen WPADW Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu and under the guidance of Comd 59 Inf Div Maj Gen WMPM Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu as well as under the supervision of Comd 593 Inf Bde Brig HVA Somaweera RWP RSP USP an interview programme was held on 16 March 2024 from 0930 hrs to 1430 hrs at the Bn HQ 6 SLNG. It was held under the patronage of Comd 59 Inf Div Maj Gen WMPM Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu in collaboration with MAS Holding with the objective of providing new job opportunities for the youth as well as creating friendship and reconciliation with the community.
For this occasion Comd 59 Inf Div Maj Gen WMPM Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu, Comd 593 Inf Bde Brig HVA Somaweera RWP RSP USP, CAO 593 Inf Bde Maj CN Ranaweera GW, CO 6 SLNG Maj KNC De Silva SLNG and the staff of MAS Holding participated along with 178 youth in the area.
