COORDINATING OF MEDICAL CAMP FOR VISION IMPAIRED PEOPLE AT RAJENDRAKULAM

Continuing the goodwill and generosity 56 Infantry Division troops and Assist Renaissance and Resettlement Organization conducted an Eye Clinic at Rajendrakulam Tamil Mix School on 12 May 2024. The event was funded by the Secretary of Assist Renaissance and Resettlement Dr Velayudam Sarveshwaran. During the Eye Clinic 382 of visionary impaired personnel were identified for surgery and provision of spectacles. The event was organized on instructions of the General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc by 17 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment of 562 Infantry Brigade.

The General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndcpsc, Commander 562 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Staff of Ananthi Eye Care and VisionCare Optical Services participated for the event.
