COORDINATING OF MEDICAL CAMP FOR VISION IMPAIRED PEOPLE AT KANAGARAYANKULAM

Continuing the goodwill and generosity 56 Infantry Division troops and Assist Renaissance and Resettlement Organization conducted an Eye Clinic at Kanagarayankulam on 28 April 2024. The event was funded by the Secretary of Assist Renaissance and Resettlement Dr. Velayudam Sarveshwaran. During the Eye Clinic 303 of visionary impaired personnel were identified for surgery and provision of spectacles. The event was organized on instructions of the General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc by 16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment of 561 Infantry Brigade.

The Deputy General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division Brigadier W S V Fernando USP ndc IG, Commander 561 Infantry Brigade (Overlooking), Senior Officers, Ophthalmologist of Teaching Hospital Jaffna Dr. Vidushan, Staff of Ananthi Eye Care participated for the event.
