Major General Nalinda Niyangoda, General Officer Commanding, 54 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders and Senior Officers of 54 Infantry Division held a coordinating conference with District Secretary Mannar Hon. Mrs. A Stanley De Mal, Zonal Education Director Mannar Mrs. G. D. Thevarajah and Zonal Education Director Madu Mrs. Valanthine at the 54 Infantry Division Headquarters at 0930 hr on 05th April 2023.
General Officer Commanding of 54 Infantry Division warmly welcome all participant and appreciated their present to the conference amidst of their busy schedule and sparing their full moon poya holiday for the betterment of the peoples of the Mannar District.
The discussion was focused on the children rights of education, development of good ethics, prevention of drugs usage of students, cleaning of city, community care programmes and tree planting project. End of the discussion District Secretary Mannar thanks all participant for sparing their holiday for wellbeing of the public and appreciated the good corporation of every event by the security forces in past. Further, she promised to get maximum effort to carry out all the points discussed today with possible approaches.
