CONTINUATION THE DONATION OF SPECTACLES FOR VISION IMPAIRED GENERAL PUBLIC IN PALINAGAR

The 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry of 56 Infantry Division donated spectacles for vision impaired people in Palinagar area with collaboration of Assist Resettlement and Renaissance on 17 April 2024 at the camp premises. This programme benefitted for 223 vision impaired people at Palinagar and Naddankandal.

Programme was launched under the direction of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc coordination with Commander 561 Infantry Brigade (Overlooking) Colonel RSC Dissanayake RSP and Commanding Officer of 10 SLLI Major K A K Hewapathage RWP RSP USP with the generous contribution of Secretary of Assist Resettlement and Renaissance, Dr. Sarveswaran.

The General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, Staff of Assist Resettlement and Renaissance, Commander 561 Infantry Brigade (Overlooking), Commanding Officer 10 SLLI, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated for the event.
