CONDUCTS LECTURE ON PREVENTION OF DANGEROUS DRUGS

Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) conducted a lecture on prevention of dangerous drugs on 03 April 2025 under the guidance of Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (Wanni). The programme aimed to raise awareness about prevention of dangerous drugs among military personnel.

Inspector of Police N M Lakshman Edirimanna, the OIC-Training from the Police Narcotics Bureau conducted the lecture and shared valuable insights into the challenges of combating drug abuse in Sri Lanka.

38 Officers and 480 Other Ranks actively attended from Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), 21, 56 Infantry Divisions, 3 Commando Regiment, 3 Special Forces Regiment, and 2 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps. Further Officers and Other Ranks from the 21, 54, 56 and 59 Infantry Divisions joined the programme via virtual platform.
