CONDUCT A PROGRAMME FOR INTRODUCTION OF TUG OF WAR GAME FOR SCHOOL

A programme was conducted for the introduction of the Tug of War game for school teachers, as per the instructions and directions of General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division and The President of the National Tug of War Federation Major General Janka Ranasinghe RSP USP ndc at Headqwters 14 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment was included with both the theoretical and practical sessions. 42 school sports instructors belongs to the Zonal Education of Kekirawa and 33 school sports instructors belongs to the Zonal Education of Thabuththegama was participated for the event. And also, Army and national Tug of War team members conducted the training session.

Further, General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division awarded certificates to all participants. Mr MRWCS Jayasena - Zonal Education Director (Sport) of Kekirawa, Mr KP Perera and Mr KAD Sudath Priyantha from the Zonal Education Thabuththegama and Senior Officers also participated to the event.
