COMMNANDER SECURITY FORCE WANNI CONTINUOUS HIS VISIT TO FIELD FORMATIONS

The Commander Security Force Wanni Major General WLPW Perera RWP RSP ndu visited 56 Div and its under command Brigades and Battalions on 31 October 2020 after his assuming of duties as the 21st Security Force Commander of SFHQ Wanni.

The visiting Commander Security Force Wanni was honoured with a Guard Turnout at HQ 56 Division and was invited to plant saplings at the entrance to camp premises. GOC 56 Infantry Division Major General Wasantha De Abrew RWP RSP USP Hdmc psc, conducting a presentation on operational deployment of troops role and task of 56 Div to the visiting Commander.

The visit included HQ 562 Brigade, Rehabilitation Center Poonthottam, Qurantine Centers Poonthottam, Pampemadu, Periyakadu, 15(V) SLSR and 17(V) SLSR BNs.

General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, Commanders of 561, 562 and 543 Bde’s Senior Officers SFHQ (Wanni), and Bn Command’s of 56 Inf Div attended in the visits.
