COMMANDER SECURITY FORCES (WANNI) VISITS WAR HEROES AT “ABHIMANSALA – 1” WITH SINHALA AND HINDU NEW YEAR

The Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, visited battle-hardened War Heroes on Wednesday (10 April) at Anuradhapura “Abhimansala – 1” to share his best wishes with them for the with Sinhala and Hindu New Year.

Major General T A Peiris ptsc Log Commander, Brigadier W M A B Wijekoon USP ndc, Centre Commandant Gajaba Regimental, Brigadier R M C Ratnayake, Commander 212 Infantry Brigade Brigadier k D U Karunarathne RSP USP Commandant Abhimansala – 1 and a group of Senior Officers joined and added significance the visit.

At the outset, the Commander of the Security Forces (Wanni) , Officers and Other Ranks visited wellness centers at the Anuradhapura “Abhimansala – 1”, inquired about their well-being and gave away special gift parcels to them as tokens of New Year greetings. Afterwards, the Commander and the gathering interacted with them during the tea party.

During his visit, the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), extended his best wishes to all who are still undergoing treatments and their families for a Sinhala and Hindu New Year filled with new hopes, peace, happiness, prosperity and health.
