Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Major General J P C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, conducted a formal visit to the 21 Infantry Division subordinate units of 4 Sri Lanka National Gourd and 5 Sri Lanka National Gourd Battalions on 07 January 2025. This visit focused on assessing operational readiness and administrative matters, boosting morale and strengthening cohesion among the units under his command.
Upon his arrival, Commander Security Forces (W) accorded with Drive pass and warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officers, along with Senior Officers, Junior Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers in each respective location. A sapling was planted to mark the visit and after Commanding Officers briefed the responsibilities, present commitment of their Battalions Commander Security Force (W) address the Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers in each respective location.
Finally, Commander Security Force (W) penned down some complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book completing the day’s proceedings. Major General WMSCK Wanasinghe RSP USP, General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Brigadier K M V Kodituwakku ndu, Brigadier General Staff SFHQ (W), Brigadier M N J Perera, Brigadier Admin & Quartering SFHQ (W), Commanders of 212 and 213 Infantr Brigades, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
