COMMANDER SECURITY FORCE (WANNI) VISITS BISHOP OF MANNAR AND MADHU CHURCH

The Commander Security Force (Wanni), Major General J P C Peris RWP RSP ndc, paid a courtesy visit to Most Rev. Dr. Fidelis Lionel Emmanuel Fernando, Bishop of the Diocese of Mannar at the Bishop’s House on 03 August 2024.During the cordial discussion, Bishop of Mannar extended his best wishes to the Commander Security Force (Wanni).

Subsequently, he visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Madhu and met with Rev. Father P Gnanpragasam of Madhu Church. During the cordial discussion commander highlighted the measures taken to ensure the security of pilgrims during the forthcoming Madhu Feast. Concluding the special occasion blessed the Commander Security Force (Wanni) in recognition of his commitment to the country.

Commander Security Force (Wanni) was accompanied by the Major General P A R P Rajapaksa RSP, General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division and Brigadier T L M Chandrasekara RWP psc, commander 542 Infantry Brigade. Chief Civil Coordinating Officer of Security Force (Wanni) and Senior officer participated in the event.
