Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General J P C Peiris RWP RSP ndc participated in the annual festival of the National Shrine of ‘Our Lady of Madhu’ in Mannar on 15 August 2024.
The Commander attained to the morning service of the feast along with the General Officer Commanding of 54 Infantry Division Major General R P A R P Rajapaksa RSP. Subsequent to the main ceremony, the sacred statue of ‘Our Lady of Madhu’ was respectfully carried in a procession throughout the church grounds to enable the devotees to pay homage.
Senior officers/officers and a significant number of devotees from various part of the island gathered for the annual feast 2024.
