COMMANDER SECURITY FORCE (WANNI) MADE HIS FIRST VISIT TO 4 SLSC

The Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP made his first official visit to 4 Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 23 Mar 2021.

The Commander was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer 4 SLSC and accorded a Guard Turnout at the entrance and after, in order to mark the visit, Commander SFHQ (W) planted a Mango sapling at the camp premises.

Subsequently, Commanding Officer briefly described the role and tasks of 4 SLSC, the prevailing situation of the SFHQ(W) AOR and Communication status of the AOR and afterwards, Commanding Officer delivered a comprehensive briefing regarding ongoing projects and future plans for the benefit of soldiers. Then the Commander SFHQ(W) addressed the troops and stressed the importance of maintaining the discipline, trainings pertaining to the field of communication technology and military training. Further, he emphasized the importance of improving the infrastructure and welfare facilities of all ranks. Finally, he also took time off to visit the camp premises to see the living standard of the soldiers.

After having lunch with the Officers of 4 SLSC he finally left compliments in the visitors’ book. Maximum number of Officers and Other Ranks participated the occasion.
