THE COMMANDER, SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI) VISITED 62 DIVISION
\r\nThe Commander, Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General J R Kulathunga RSP ndc psc visited 62 Division in Galkulama on 01 December 2016 after he took over the command.\r\n\r\nThe Commander was welcomed by the General Officer Commanding, 62 Division and bestowed with a guard turnout at the entrance of the Headquarters.\r\n\r\nAfter that, the General Officer Commanding’s briefing was taken place at the conference hall and subsequently, the Commander planted a mango sapling inside the camp premises to remark the visit.\r\n\r\nLater on,the Commander was present on a photograph with General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers and Officers. \r\n\r\nAs the final segments of the event, the Commander addressed the troops and subsequently, participated in an all rank tea party.\r\n\r\nOn the way back, the Commander paid a visit to Athawetunuwewa village and inspected a temporary house owned to a soldier from 5 Sri Lanka National Guard died due to a heart attack recently. Then, the Commander instructed to the General Officer Commanding, 62 Division to take appropriate remedies to uplift their living standard. \r\n\r\nThe General Officer Commanding, 62 Division Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndc psc, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and large number of Other Ranks were present at the occasion.\r\n
