The newly appointed General Officer Commanding 54 Division, Brigadier DSD Welikala WWV RWP RSP USP paid his first official visit to 541 Brigade,22nd Battalion Gajaba Regiment, 12th (V) Sri Lanka Artillery, 10th (V) Battalion The GamunuWatch 15th (V) BattalionThe Gamunu Watch on 13 and 14 January 2020.
Further,the GOC used to conduct a field visit to “Thuruliya Wenuwen Api” tree planting sites at Kallaru in 542 Brigade AOR and conducted tree planting programme with villagers and students of Marichchikaddi Muslim Vidyalaya.
