COLONEL K D M L SAMARADIWAKARA RWP RSP psc ASSUMED OFFICE AS THE 7TH COMMANDER OF THE 541 INFANTRY BRIGADE

A formal ceremony was taken place to mark the assuming of the office of newly appointed Commander 541 Infantry Brigade Colonel K D M L Samaradiwakara RWP RSP psc on 20 Jan 2021 as the 7th Brigade Commander.

As the first segment of the ceremony, the incoming Brigade Commander reviewed the Guard Turnout presented on arrival at the Headquarters premises and he was welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 12 (V) SLA. After Colonel K D M L Samaradiwakara RWP RSP psc assuming of office and auspiciously took over the duties amid the religious observances. Subsequently Kumbuk sapling was planted at the premises of headquarters office complex and followed troop address, all rank tea organized at the Other Ranks’ Mess at 541 Infantry Brigade. During the troop address he expressed his vision.

Commanding Officers and under command troops attended the ceremonial event and they extended best wishes to the new Brigade Commander.
