This tank is located in Galkulama village in the 211 Infantry Brigade Headquarters area under the 21 Infantry Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni). Since the water of this tank is so densely covered with aquatic plants such as Japanese salvinia and lotus that it is not visible, a cleaning effort was carried out on 06 August 2025 under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, Major General M W A R C Wijesuriya RSP USP NDSC and under the supervision of the Brigade Commander, 211 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier T D P Siriwardena PSC.
Financial support for the cleaning of this tank was provided by the Elizabeth Moyer School Environmental Protection Association - Koloa, and the tank was cleaned with the participation of officers/non-commissioned officers of the 211 Infantry Brigade and 9 Gajaba Regiment, Irrigation Department officers, farmer organizations and local residents.
