CLEAN SRI LANKA PROJECT LAUNCHED BY 561 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Under the guidance of the SFHQ (Wanni) and the 56 Infantry Division, 561 Infantry Brigade launched the “Clean Sri Lanka” project at Palinagar Maha Vidyalaya, Palinagar on 25th February 2025. The projects were carried out with the participation of officers and other ranks of the 10th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry. The details of the project are as follows,

a. Palinagar Maha Vidyalaya, Palinagar.Whole school premises was cleaned by cutting grass and clearing the garbage in and around classrooms and surroundings with the participation of school teachers, all school students, the school principal and troops of the 10 SLLI. The event was initiated with the participation of the 561 Infantry Brigade Commander, the Second in Command of 10 SLLI and the school principal.

The implementation of the “Clean Sri Lanka” project in this school aims to create a clean and beautiful learning environment, subsequently creating a favorable environment for learning. Our collective goal is to establish well-maintained and attractive schools for future generations and facilitate to establishment Beautiful Island, Smiling People as per the vision of “Clean Sri Lanka”.
