CIVIL MILITARY COORDINATING CONFERENCE ON GREEN AGRICULTURE PROJECT

A cimic conference on Green Agriculture Project was held on 06 January 2022 at 5 (V) Gajaba Regiment Horowpothana, chaired by the General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Major General Upali Gunasekara RWP USP IG and Commander 623 Infantry Brigade Brigadier Rohan Medagoda RSP USP psc IG. The conference was convened to discuss the matters pertaining to the Green Agriculture and strategies to be adopted on use of Organic Fertilizer for the farming within Horowpothana, Kebithigollewa and Vavuniya North Divisional Secretaries areas.

Divisional Secretaries of Horowpothana, Kebithigollewa and Resident Project Manager Mahaweli L Zone Kebithigollewa were presented for the meeting. Further, Brigadier Coord (Volunteer ) Security Forces (Wanni), Colonel Coord (Volunteer) 62 Infantry Division, Commanding Officer Civil Security Department Kebithigollewa, Civil Affairs Officer–Security Forces (Wanni), Civil Affairs Officer - 62 Infantry Division, Civil Affairs Officer 623 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer – 11 Bn the Gemunu Watch and Commanding Officer 5 (V) Gajaba Regiment participated for the conference.
